Welcome to the Texas Cyber Range (TxCR) documentation! This platform provides students, researchers, and cybersecurity professionals with hands-on access to enterprise-grade infrastructure for learning, testing, and development.

What is TxCR?​

The Texas Cyber Range is a virtualized environment that allows you to:

  • Learn industry-standard technologies in a safe, isolated environment
  • Experiment with networking, security, and system administration
  • Develop applications and services using modern DevOps tools
  • Test configurations and scenarios without impacting production systems
  • Prepare for industry certifications (RHCSA, CCNA, etc.)

What You Can Do​

  1. Authentik Dashboard - Your central portal for all TxCR services
  2. Console Access - Access Xen Orchestra to manage VMs (no VPN needed)
  3. VPN Access - Connect via GlobalProtect for SSH/RDP access
  4. SSH Access - Connect to Linux VMs
  5. Account Management - Manage your credentials and settings
